Embraer and Adani reported exploring a civil-aircraft assembly line, Dholera among candidate sites
Embraer and Adani signed a memorandum of understanding, reported in July 2026, to explore a Make in India civil-aircraft final assembly line targeted around 2028, with Dholera airport among the sites under evaluation and no site finalised.
This is an MoU-stage exploration, not a committed project. If Dholera is chosen, it would put an aircraft assembly line beside the aviation and defence sectors already zoned in the SIR's official sector plan.
