Dholera SIR News.

The dated, sourced record of the Dholera Special Investment Region in Gujarat. Every entry carries the date it happened, the source it came from, and a plain label telling you how solid it is. Nothing on this site is for sale.
Last reviewed 11 August 2026

This page is the running list of what has actually happened in Dholera, newest first. Dholera SIR stands for Special Investment Region, a large industrial zone created under a Gujarat law of 2009 and now being built south of Ahmedabad at the far end of the 109 km expressway that opened in March 2026.

Almost every page on the internet about Dholera is written by somebody selling land there. This one is not, which is why each entry below shows you the date the thing happened, the source we took it from, and a one-word label saying how solid it is. Read the labels this way. DURABLE means an official document says it. REPORTED means credible news outlets say it and no official document confirms it yet. TARGET means somebody has named a date or a number they are aiming at, which is not the same as something that has happened. If a word on this site is unfamiliar, the glossary explains it in one line.
